Mechanical Engineering, University Of Michigan (Dearborn) 2 first-author papers in a top peer-reviewed journal in Mechanical Engineering; MSc GPA: 3.76/4; graduating from the top-tier program in the country; TOEFL iBT: 105; the best master's thesis in the university; 4 years of work experience; 3 strong LORs; myriad academic projects; and proficiency in various software and programming languages; I received an admission letter in late March with full funding and decided not to wait for other universities' decisions.
