Mental Health Counseling, City College Of New York I submitted my application on 2/1. I received an invite to interview via email on 4/2. I interviewed on 4/10 and received my acceptance during the in-person interview. I received the official letter via email on 4/12. I did 2 years of work-study during undergrad. Worked all thru undergrad. Worked in case management during post-college. I just accepted their offer!!! Best of luck to everyone! 1a/1w/5r/1p

Clinical Mental Health Counseling, San Francisco State University Finally got the rejection letter. I saw someone say they updated the gateway portal yesterday but i couldn't for the life of me figure out how to log in. Was expecting the rejection after seeing the waitlist and acceptance statuses last week on reddit. Heard there was a huge pool of applicants, so congratulations to those who got in!

Marriage And Family Therapy (Counseling MFCC Program), San Francisco State University No communication since day of application. SFGateway Application Status was stuck at 19 Jan, 2024. Today, i.e. on 10th April, it updated to denied. Expected the result since accepted and waitlisted candidates have updated on reddit and grad cafe. Have been accepted in 3 other universities, so no regrets. TBH a little glad that this is finally over. I am going to grad school!

Counseling Psychology, Hunter College I knew this was coming, checked portal (no email). I rushed the application at the airport and applied same day. I got in last fall 2023 for their general psych masters research program, but wanted to go the counseling route. I didn't really deserve to get in this time around, glad someone else got a spot.

Counseling Psychology, University Of Toronto Canadian, out-of-province applicant. I have an honours psych bachelors and a graduate diploma. Years of volunteer experience at crisis lines and have been working as a youth protection social worker for the last year. Informed with an email informing to check application page.
