Graduate School Admission Results

I have 8.5/10 from a tier 3 Indian college. Had applied for fall 24 but got for spring 25. I didn't submit GRE. TOEFL was above 110. I have some one more award and have presented a paper at a local IEEE conference.

Got official acceptance from the dept two days ago with a funding letter and official rejection from ad office today.

No wonder!

Ignore status!!! Does anyone know if formal acceptance or rejection letters have been sent? I haven't received anything yet

Interdisciplinary background in humanities and natural science; has a data science minor but but no prior experience in communication.

accepted for the MSAI program, got acceptance for Summer admit also but I rejected

This is for an MS in CS (for S&E). BA in Statistics from a Top 5 US public school, with all A's in CS courses like ds&a, OS, DB, AI, etc. No published research but a strong undergrad honors thesis in statistical machine learning, and a few decent projects in deep learning and computer vision. About 2 years of experience in startups and Big 4 consulting. Program-tailored SoP, though written in one night so not perfect. 1 LoR from a manager. The program targets engineering or science majors, but seems open to others with relevant experience or coursework in computing.
