M. Eng program, under the Data Science and Systems track. Berkeley undergrad, ~3.85 GPA, 2 internships and some research experience.

Two interviews; two different POIs. Latest offered interview slot was for Monday (1/21). Second POI told me to await a result by mid February.

Did anyone hear from MSE at Berkeley yet? UCB released their offers on Jan 18 last year. Why do the results of this year seem to come so late?

Contacted POI, who informed me that the department couldn't admit more students.

Anybody heard anything from Berkeley? Thought they would make decisions when GRFP results came out, but apparently not...less than a week left...

With a faculty in security. Not listed in POI but have had high interest in the research of the faculty and took relevant coursework. Desperately want to join the group.

GPA is grad. Email to check website. Sad day today, but at least they get on with the rejection notifications right away instead of delaying it for a week or two.
