Well, at least the coordinator is straight-forward about it. Emailed the coordinator and they said the official letter may come tomorrow on the system. Had epsilon expectation after learning that I'm not invited to visit day so it doesn't hurt too bad.

TPB: no update on the overall situation, although I assume that they're nearing decisions. Best of luck to everyone else on the waitlist.

TPB: Did the department also tell you about the overall situation? I am curious whether the probability for most waitlisted applicants to get in is slim.

I had not heard anything from them since my interview until March 31. POI contacted me saying I had been on the waitlist up until now and they wanted to make an offer if I was still interested. Will attend! He said they will finalize admissions and send out the final rejection letters later this week.

Had been on the WL with Northwestern, and they had expressed some optimism for me getting in off the waitlist previously. Just emailed to inquire about my status, and they said that it is very very unlikely.

I was waitlisted a while ago. I'm posting here to see if any other waitlist has heard back anything. Folks with dominating offers, please reject NWU so the waitlist can move, thanks!

(Ignore waitlist) Do anyone hear anything back from Northwestern? Should we just accept that those who haven't heard anything until today == rejected?

Hey here: GPA : 8.4/10. Tier 2 private university (Among the likes of VIT, Manipal, KIIT, SRM) GRE : 325( 167Q) Almost 4 YOE at a top MNC (FAANG level) Glad to see someone had applied for ms cs at nw. Till now I havent found another soul! :D I thought I was the only one applying here.
