Finally got the rejection letter. I saw someone say they updated the gateway portal yesterday but i couldn't for the life of me figure out how to log in. Was expecting the rejection after seeing the waitlist and acceptance statuses last week on reddit. Heard there was a huge pool of applicants, so congratulations to those who got in!

We had an unexpectedly high acceptance rate in the first (limited) batch of offers we made, so we won't extend any more offers. I already have a master's and applied for a Ph.D. here. I won't be able to fund a master's in the US. Is anyone aware of any scholarships or funding programs, as I eventually wish to do a Ph.D. only, which I guess can be converted later?

I'm the one who posted on GradCafe back in March, saying MSU was my last hope, as it was my only waitlist after getting rejected by 11 others. Ok, this last hope also shattered. Am I really this bad? Anyway, life goes on. Sigh!

Hi. Greatly appreciate it if you could kindly decline any offers that are less preferable to you, especially if you are currently holding multiple offers. Doing so will help streamline and accelerate the entire admissions process, benefiting both those on the waitlist and yourselves. Additionally, the school that may not be your top choice could be the dream school for someone else, who might in turn be holding an offer from a school you prefer, especially if your interests lie in different topics and areas.

No Interview, No GRE, B.S. Got a mail that my BuckeyeMail account has been created. After it, I discovered my application status had shifted to 'Decision' on the portal. Following this, upon reaching out to the department, I received notification of my acceptance into the Ph.D. program. However, I have to find an advisor who gives me a GRA position.

No interview, no funding information, no tuition exemption information.
