Stats: 2-3 years ML work experience at top tech company, undergrad from top 10 CS program, ~2 papers (unpublished, under rev)

Just got the email and almost had a heart attack! This is beyond my wildest dreams. Gosh, have already paid deposit to another program. Stats: 3 FAANG internships, 1 research projs but no pubs (was pending when I applied), TA 6 sems, highest GPA in my course, founder of a small fintech startup

MS CS acceptance. Field: Systems and Networking. From a top IIT, 1 research paper in A* conference, 1 international research internship

Shouldnt have applied here. A waste of money.

top Chinese university, EE background. interested in optics/photonics and quantum information. 1-year research experience in optics, 1 paper under review. I am rejected by all top universities I applied for, and Stanford is the last one.

Generic double-rejection email and a third one saying there was a glitch in the system.

(Ignore waitlist) Has anyone heard back from the SDC track? The waiting is just so grueling and it seems like SDC is always the last to release results.

Rejected without interview. Applying from undergrad with forthcoming publications, conference presentations, and major awards.

Gutted, but there is always next year.

I'm happy that humanity is not doomed. If I got admitted, then there is a huge problem with this generation.

Stanford University AP Ph.D. program. I have had two NSF REUs, two years of research experience during undergrad in physics/ECE, and two primary-author publications. I had a nice interview with the admissions committee on 3/11 (Friday). I'm interested in optics, photonics, and ultrafast. One of my top choices and I am so excited! Good luck to everyone!
