(International student), graduated from one of highest rank uni in my country, already secured scholarship, and have several local publication

Long awaited. This program was my top choice and I'm both thrilled and stunned to have been accepted. I had emailed NYU in March asking when decisions would be released and had been told they would come out by the last week of March. The first week of April I reached out again, and was told they would be out by the end of the week. This week (the second week of April) I was heavily anticipating a response and also coming to terms with the fact that the response would likely be a rejection. I happened to get an email to check my portal and my acceptance letter was there. I'm absolutely over the moon and will be accepting this offer. I'm wishing well to everyone else on their journeys!

Why did they wait an entire month just to reject me when everyone else heard back on March 10th -__- tf breh

This is my second master's degree. My first was in Social Studies from Teachers College, Columbia. (Master's GPA: 3.88) One year unrelated research experience and three publications. Being admitted into this program was a dream of mine for years. Really looking forward to it.
