Sociocultural Anthropology, New York University Expected. You know how sometimes when people get rejected they say that it was a bad fit and you wonder why then did they bother applying? Well, that's me. I have my reasons: first, NYU has a good anthro program and second, I really liked this professor whose research is like tangentially related to mine at best but I still thought they were super cool so what the hell. It happens people. Also sometimes you can think that the fit might not be good and they accept you anyways and sometimes you are right in thinking that it's not a great fit. Just my 2 cents.
