Physics, University Of Wisconsin-Madison I am into fusion. I had a summer internship and worked on a medium-sized tokamak. Experience with cold Plasmas. Have two publications under review. I just tried my luck with space plasmas.

Physics, University Of Wisconsin-Madison Hep-ex . Summer Research in hep-ex, 1.5 years experience in biophysics, and 2 summer research programs in physical chemistry and computational mathematics. Exchanged emails with 4 faculty members but didn't get on Zoom with them. I thought I was a good fit, crushed.

Physics, University Of Wisconsin-Madison Applied for condensed matter experiment. REU in high energy physics and computational research in materials science from a high-ranking state school. No publications. Did not submit my GREs. I was not too surprised because my application was relatively generic, as this was not my top choice and was quite a reach. Good luck to all!
