Fully did not see the "not" in "not being offered admission," told my mom and some pals, then read the email again and realized I'm a fool lmfao. I think I would be way more bummed if the UCSC letter hadn't come on the same day (and I saw it just before). Good luck to everyone else!!

GPA is MA - First official rejection, so feeling bummed about the rest of the season. Although, we all only need one acceptance!!!

2r/1i Received a standard short email, "Please understand that we received many impressive applications, but we are only able to offer admission to the strongest few." Really feels like the season is just starting! Hoping for the best for the rest of them.

2nd Rejection. Not looking good for me.

A kind email was sent. My first rejection so it stung but this wasn't anywhere near my top choices so I am hoping for a better outcome with the other programs I applied to!

Invited to a Zoom interview with the committee.

POI emailed after interview to explain that while I “had strong scholarly potential” my research interests were a better fit for the Mass Comm and Journalism program so if I want they will send my file to that department to be considered for admission by them instead.
