Accepted off of the waitlist! Very excited.

To the person below: I am in the same boat. I received admission to the 2 year track at UBC but was admitted to the Foundation course at Calgary! Its definitely a scam! Just wanted to know if you have received an entrance scholarship/grant from UBC. 43k/year is quite expensive .

Accepted to Foundation Year. What! Would never go! My senior in the same RIBA course with me got to 2-year Calgary program last year and they informed me our study is far more sufficient than the Foundation Year... we should skip it!. Just feel like they want us to invest more money. Anyway, accepted to 2-year MArch UBC is enough to me!

Indian applicant with a B.Arch degree and 2 years experience. Received admission to foundational course. Disappointed.

Notified months ago about being wait-listed, no further communication has been made. They are not responding to emails.

Notified by email about being accepted, no scholarship information mentioned.

I want to announce that I am probably going to decline the offer for M.Arch I on April 22 (They Extended the decision for me) for financial reasons. I thought that I may be able to find resources for my studies but sadly that did not happen (I am international from a poor country, and loans are not applicable for me). This a really hard decision for me as I worked hard to be able to attend, but sometimes life dictates things that are not in your control. I was hoping that financial matters do not limit my progress towards the future, but the reality of the world is about power and money. Guys, try hard to be rich. That's all I can say. I just wanted to notify some of the waitlisted students about my decision and tell you that you may be the lucky student who always dreamed about GSD, hope you, unlike me, have enough money. Wait until April 22. You may receive good news.

Still waiting. Received an online rejection letter on March 26th but then was notified that it was an "administrative error" and application status reverted back to "Under Review". Not sure what to think. Canadian educated w/ strong references (I think! lol) from quite distinguished people, international work experience, confirmed faculty interest... let's just blame the delay on the pandemic ;-)

Still have not received decision. Status of application still "In Review". Anyone know about the timeline for grad admissions? They've extended some deadlines for undergrad admissions according to their website, but I was not able to find any info about how covid-19 may be affecting grad admission. When is the deadline to accept grad school offers right now?

Tuition waiver + stipend

Got the admit quite late and had already decided on another program. Was offered about 1/5 tuition, $11.4K.

NO funding

NO award offered. Super pricey program. Cool tho.

In with about 1/3 scholarship, $24k toward tuition (just under $60k). This is program aligns best with all of my interests yet still a bit expensive for me.
