Graduate School Admission Results

Any idea on the likelihood of getting off the Stanford waitlist? :)

SDC. Came out at the end of February / beginning of March. On visit day, they said they only admit about 40 students and there were about 20 admits there. Then on graduate engineering diversity day there were about 20 different admits than the ones I saw on visit day. If you haven't gotten an update, they may be waiting for the original admits to reject admittance in order to offer you their original spot (waitlisted).

Finally got the dreaded status update! Heartbreaking to get rejected :(. 6a/5r/1p (which also is most likely a reject)

Applied for PhD program and interviewed, didn't get in but was offered a (funded!) masters position by my potential advisor because of my lack of super substantial research experience. Will be able to apply to transfer for PhD after 1 year. And yes, that is my gpa! I went to a school with grade deflation and have a pretty stellar CV. Any chats for future Stanford Earth students? Would love to meet y'all!

found PI that wanted to accept me, received a general rejection email

I am not sure if anyone got the result for the MSc. CEE SDC track yet, please let us know. At least I will feel less nervous, last year some ppl said that they got the email til May or June. I only see the one who applied for the Ph.D. got the result. Please let me know any updated information

Hi, ignore the waitlist. Has anyone here heard any updates from Stanford? Mine was submitted in Nov 2021, and my portal is still showing "Complete." I even do not know if I am put on the waitlist or not. or does it mean an informal rejection? is there anyone facing the same situation as mine? It would be highly appreciated if you have any information from this institution! THANK YOU!

Anyone get a Stanford offer for Teacher Education and plan on accepting OR rejecting?? Your boy would just like to know where he stands :)

As an undergrad - 1 publication first author top journal, 1 publication co-author top journal, two NSF research awards (1st and 3rd place) in ASME research conferences. Rejected :((( I checked the portal and found my decision letter. Best of luck to everyone else!

My dream school! full-ride funding. did not submit GRE though. attend the 7-8 February Virtual Visit and several e-mail correspondences with the PoI up until the e-mail notification.
