Same here, applied to MRes/PhD in December and haven't heard anything since. I also inquired about the status of my application/an early decision due to outside offers but didn't get a response so far. I think this just means that we have to wait until the dust settles a bit in the US. My impression is that LSE is a backup for many top 10 US applicants.

American student with Canadian MA, 2+ years as Fed RA 0a/0w/5r/15p

Accepted to SSE for MSc Economics program. No tuition waiver, so 300k SEK in tuition is a bit steep for me (non European student). Going to decline.

Actually I submitted the application on 12 Jan and completed by 18 Jan. Offered a partial tuition waiver (8,000 €). Need to deposit a non-refundable reservation fee of 1,000 €. Not likely to accept. ;(

For the person from India who was accepted today, I would like to know the deadline for reply the invitation. Thanks!!!

I did not receive an email; checked the portal and the rejection was there.

At the moment, you are in the waiting list. However, please know that, should any admitted candidates with higher ranking score decline the offer, the ranking will be updated and other candidates may change status; candidates in the waiting list may then be offered a place ("with tuition fees" or even "with tuition waiver" or "with fellowship").

To the one who replied: I still have to do the interview, it is scheduled for tomorrow but it does not seem so technical.
