Waitlisted back in early March. Has anyone been removed from the waitlist and offered admission?

No interview and not a word from the PI that I have chosen after he convinced me to apply. Very sad because it was my last hope for this admission cycle. Nevertheless, we move.

They suggested me to transfer from PhD to MEng program

MEng program. Originally applied to the EECS (Data Science concentration) department, admitted to second choice (MS&E concentration).

Accepted after receiving NSF GRFP... unfortunately cannot attend due to family threatening to excommunicate me :)

Wait listed back in March. Please let Berkeley know asap if you're not planning on attending! Waiting on a miracle for my dream school!

I really don't know what took them so long

Congratulations to those that were admitted. If you have a better offer, could you please decline? This is my only top choice. Thank you so much!

I know that it is a rejection after that point and already registered to another program but do you know if they sent any rejection mails or are they waiting for anything?

Received an email, “The applicants admitted to the program have been notified. If you have not heard back, I regret to inform you that your application for admission to UC Berkeley's graduate program has been denied.”
