Mechanical Engieering, Stanford University The Mechanical Engineering Graduate Admissions Committee at Stanford
University has conducted a thorough review of your application. Regrettably, due to
limited seats in the Ph.D. program, we are unable to offer you admission.
It is unfortunate that we are unable to accept all of the exceptional students who
apply to our department. The process of selection is difficult and painstaking and
many strong candidates must be turned away each year. Be assured, however, that
decisions are made with conscientious care by responsible and knowledgeable
experts in the field.
The best of luck in your future endeavors.

(Civil) Structural Engineering, Stanford University To the poster below... Do you know how much ($) the person who was awarded the scholarship/fellowship was awarded? I want to know if it would make a substantial dent in Stanford's $109,000 tuition/fees. Thanks

Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University (To the post below) I believe Stanford has already sent out their admissions for this program. Compared to previous years it seems like they send out most admissions within 2-3 days of each other. They send out rejections about a week later. Now I'm just waiting for my rejection letter essentially, but you never know. :|

(Civil Engineering) Sustainable Design And Construction, Stanford University Received email from faculty. Offer with funding. He said the official letters will be received "soon" although I don't know how "soon" this could be. Anyone on the same boat? (Apparently this program is extremely competitive, as I was told by people who went to open house and faculty...). Good luck all!
