Management Science And Engineering, Stanford University TTPB: According to their website, transcripts requests are sent out to "finalists". So, a call for transcripts likely does not mean acceptance but suggests improved likelihood. It is my conjecture that if others in your specialization have received transcript calls and you have not, it is an implicit rejection. Most decisions by the department seem to have been made early/mid March in previous years. I am waiting to hear from them as well.

Management Science And Engineering (MS&E), Stanford University My main interest was in Computational Social Science. 1.5 years of computational engineering research, 1 year of sociology research. Was put in the master's pool after my PhD application was rejected. No financial aid, and I have PhD acceptances elsewhere with funding, so I will probably decline.
