Human Computer Interaction, University Of Maryland College Park Ignore Waitlist. I received a mail stating I've been recommended to the grad school for admission. Not entirely an admit yet but I'm hoping to get some good news soon. Will update soon.

Information Studies, University of Maryland Global Campus Emailed to check on any updates/status and I'm on the waitlist. Found out that they have a round of admissions offers out now and are continuing to make decisions over the next several weeks. No exact timeline was provided on when final decision will be made on my application.

Creative Writing Poetry, University of Maryland Global Campus I knew it was coming, but it still stings. I heard from a professor there that they dropped their program from 5 people to 2, and that they typically had over 800 applicants, so CRAZY competitive. Finance, University of Maryland Global Campus [Not waitlist] Whats wrong with this school? I send several emails to ask for status updates, and only got the same response that they are still reviewing applications. Anybody got their interviews or offers? I don't want to waste time on useless waiting. TKS in advance!

Computer Science, University of Maryland Global Campus TTPB: I wouldn't read too much into application status changes. I'm an accepted student this cycle, and didn't really log in to check what it may have been after I finished submitting my materials. There's no harm in reaching out to someone in admissions if you want to know more information about the status of your application, as long as you're polite about it (I think). Good luck!
