Only 5/29 students accepted got funding. I was not one of them :(

Ignore the interview; has anyone heard from McGill at all?

Informed about the wait list, but have informed them I won't be waiting for it as I have accepted a position elsewhere.

POI isn't taking students next year

This might be a hopeless attempt, but to the two that were accepted, if any of you see this message, are you considering other programs?

Rejected! It's ok though because I was admitted to my top choice and a few other programs.

There was an initial rejection that happened to people in February but received an email that time saying the application is under review. Did not receive an interview call, however. Still don't understand why they mailed in February while many others got rejection. Seems like there is a second-round between the interview and first-round rejection. Sad! There was no need to give hope in the first place.

Super nice e-mail from department. Chair followed by one by POI. Pretty happy about it as my research interests are pretty aligned with the POI assigned. Funding details to come soon.

I have not got an official rejection yet, but I sent an email to the department and they said that admitted students have been contacted already. Congrats to those who got into grad school this year. It was a tough one.

Email notification that I was accepted with funding! As well as receiving instate tuition as an out of state student.

Potential PI emailed to let me know the department only accepted very few students due to funding, and he was unable to accept a new student at this time. He stated that next year funding should improve.
