Phone call from one of the professors I interviewed with

Ignore status. Given the exceptionally high capacity of this year's application, does it mean that if we got no message from a school at this point we are being waitlisted? As far as I know this year's waitlist is almost equal to late rejection.

Received email with invite to virtual recruitment event/interview.

Got a call from the Director of Admissions followed by an email a few days later.

Rejected after interview, this one hurts

Rejected via update to online portal on 02/02. No interview. 2 undergrad internships, 1 semester undergrad research, 6 months full-time research. No GRE. No publications.

2 years research experience, great recommenders, presented at a conference. Oh well!

I have been waitlist and the email said that based on the space I will be offered admission. Please if you have been offered an admission and not considering it please reject it soon and not wait till the last minute :( I am also worried about my chances of getting in this.

Received conditional offers. Waiting for funding.

Did not take GRE. ~2 years research experience in undergrad. In a gap year right now to work on research/lab management FT in my undergrad lab. No posters/talks (mainly due to health issues in my last year of undergrad), but 1 mid-author pub on the way. Lots of teaching/science writing experience. Worked extremely hard on personal statement/CV/meeting PIs with similar interests before applications were due. Application sent on deadline (Dec 1st 2022), received interview invite on Dec 9th, interviewed in mid-January. Thought I bombed the admissions committee interview, but PI interviews went well.
