Graduate School Admission Results

I received the official email on April 8th (yesterday) notifying me of my waitlist position, but had solicited the same information on April 4th.

IGNORE STATUS. It's very close to 15th April and I have not heard back from Univ. of Houston so far? Anyone has any news about this program? Have they sent out acceptances or rejects?

Accepted off waitlist. GPA is grad.

Ignore status. Has anyone heard back from UF? I have gotten nothing so far, and it's only a week until April 15th.

I was informed that I was on their waitlist a while back, but I'm still waiting. They say that they are down to 18 people on the waitlist for 2 slots. This school is so important to me. If you have better offers, please decline, and I will always be in your debt.

I have just been informed that I am next up on the wait-list, so if anyone has an acceptance to MSU and is considering declining, this would do wonders for me, and I'd be eternally grateful.

IGNORE STATUS. I see that UH's waitlist is out but I don't see any accept from UH? Does UH release the waitlist before releasing the admits ? Or, is it that the admit offers have already been sent out?

Hi everyone, since we only have eleven days until the acceptance deadline we should all help each other out and turn down any offers we won't accept and ask to be removed from any waitlists that we won't accept. I've turned down an offer, but I'm currently on six waitlists that I would accept prior to my current offers (I'm deciding between the two that I'm holding onto but will turn one of them down very soon). I am very stressed but if we all turn down the offers we don't want then we could start a chain reaction which could hopefully get a lot of people off of waitlists prior to the fifteenth. I, along with a lot of other people I'm guessing, really don't want to accept an offer on the fourteenth and hear back from a school that I'd prefer to go to on the fifteenth. Anyways, sorry for my rant, I'm sure you all understand. Regarding Utah, I was told that I was on the 'reserve list', or the hidden waitlist. So my odds don't look great there.

Email from director of grad admissions. Nice email, they let me know I was number 10 or so on the waitlist, so probably not a great shot of acceptance—we'll see though, fingers crossed!
