Graduate School Admission Results

Got an email from the grad director stating I was admitted and that they would reach out soon with funding. This was my dream school and I am crying rn haha! My GRE is lower than what they usually admit, just a warning.

Notified by email from Admissions Chair yesterday of unofficial acceptance (has yet to be processed by Grad Division)! So excited I still can't believe it :') Currently finishing a MA/3 academic publications/4 years research experience/2 years teaching experience/submitted a GRE score.

First admit I'm crying rn 1a/0i/3r/8p

Received an email from the grad program director this afternoon. He said I will receive the funding package in an official letter soon. Very excited! 2a/1i/1r/4p

Email to check portal, generic rejection letter. Not too bummed about it bc I already was accepted to UCLA 2a/0i/3r/0w

No GRE submitted. GPA is grad. Got an email to check the portal. Not a great match for my research, totally get it

3a/1r/6p. Got an invite to admitted students' day, no portal update, they said formal letter is on its way.

No GRE submitted. GPA is Masters. 0a/2r/3w

Rejected from Yale. Among my 6 choices, their statement submission formatted deviated from the norm the most. 300 words, 300 words, and an additional 300 words. I also had difficulty making a case for faculty I was a good fit for. 3 down, 3 to go!

GPA is Master's. I was expecting this since I was not called in for an interview. It was a perfect fit & had a great POI who seemed eager to have me as well. I'll be trying again next year!
