Does anyone who has been accepted to UPenn knows the i20 amount?

A message telling me to check the portal. I knew it was coming... So it was just good to get closure.

An email notified me a decision was made, and the rejection letter was on the website.

Somewhat perplexed because I had a good phone chat with a professor and am also accepted into two top 10 schools. But oh well.

Rejected after being interviewed. Very confusing and disheartening.

Invited to interview at Penn in Jan or Feb. M.A (gpa 3.8), one paper to be published

Notified via Fulbright/IIE. GPA on a 1.0 to 7.0 scale.

3rd Rejection, CV/ML

Field: NLP, 2 publications, BA + MS from top 15 schools, strong recommendations from well-known faculty. 8th rejection sadly, recruiting for jobs now. Hope to apply again in December.

Checked website randomly after Columbia, and got the email a few minutes later. Now 8r/2p, and feeling great

3.98 major GPA. Took several introductory comp sci courses at my uni prior to applying and got As. One letter of rec from comp sci faculty. Shared researched interests with penn faculty. Perhaps low GRE quant or bad letters got me?

I emailed last week to ask if all decisions were released. They said they were still finalizing decisions and all would be mailed by end of this week. So far no word either way, but we are supposed to hear yes or no today.

Interviews held in January/February, received notification from the department this week, five years full funding. GPA listed for MA.

Math/OR undergrad, 3 years work experience, no formal research

Finally...

No one I know got into Penn despite us getting into objectively better ranked programs. We must not have been what they were looking for. Good luck to everyone else!
