Biosciences, Stanford University Completely their loss. I've met a majority of their current PhD students, and cannot say their scientific minds are better than state-undergrads; book smart, but significantly missing creativity and vision. Stanford's search for the "perfect" resume has it's downside, missing out on recruiting actual scientists while instead capturing the science-doers. -Sincerely, The Scientist.
