Received pleasant email from the Associate Director of the program. So excited. Came few hours after the bland rejection from Princeton.

Interviewed 02/15/2024-02/17/2024 in person with 15 other applicants. They stated they would be accepting 5 students. Accepted via email in a letter from the director of the program on 02/22/2024, exactly one week post-interview. Stats: GPA 3.95, two bachelors degrees (music and Biochemistry), MSc thesis in biochemistry expected in May 2024. One co-first author pub in preprint and in the process of submission, 4 middle author pubs, several posters and conferences, 5 years research experience total. One other acceptance to T25 biomedical sciences umbrella program, one waitlist at a T5 for pathobiology. Will be making decisions as quickly as possible out of respect to others on waitlist, but am leaning towards accepting here as there is a PI with a perfect research fit.

QI. This is my second application cycle, no published research, cs and physics double major. For anyone worrying they won't get in without official research experience, this is your sign you can!

I've been accepted to the Anthopology PhD program, waitlisted for funding opportunities. Cannot attend without it. Fingers crossed.
