Linguistics, Stanford University To the person below with a question about Stanford. I sense it's not going to be the best news either. I noticed a pattern in the 2019 results posts from Stanford Linguistics; all the rejection updates were posted in the first two weeks if Feb, while those accepted posted updated until the last week of Jan. I feel like I'm going to be joining the rejected party soon. But I hope the best for you :)

Computer Science, Stanford University To the poster below, those who got rejected by Ph.D. program and transferred to MS pool will receive a notification e-mail, rather than a general rejection email. If you've received a general rejection email, this probably means you are not considered for MS degree.

Communication, Stanford University It's a dream that can never be fulfilled. I thought I would cry two years ago if I got the rejection, but now, it's just a normal email. Painful and down, but not devastated. I Realized that it's much more important to do better each day and work hard towards goals than simply going to a school that I can boast.
