I got an offer from another school that requires my decision this week, so I sent an inquiry email to NU and got this: "Thank you for your email and continued interest in the program. At Northwestern, some admission offers have been made. The admission committee is still reviewing applications, but, unfortunately, we will not be able to make you an offer."

Accepted without funding. Graduate coordinator said commit will notify info about funding in Feb.

Ignore this waitlist. I haven't receieved any notification yet. Is there anybody who received an email from the department? (except for the below admitted) When did you submit your application?

Econ/math undergrad. Few years pre-doc in relevant agencies. Email to check portal, no info on funding/fellowships/etc

Also attained an MSc in Asia with a GPA of 3.8; 22k stipend for five years; My field of interest is Micro theory.

I didn't put my expectations on this school because of my super-low GRE and weak SOPs and more...

Received an email from the director of the graduate program. The formal letter will be sent in 10 days.

MPhil in Economics Research- Unconditional offer. UK undergrad. No word on college selection yet. Also accepted at UCL and LSE. Waiting to hear back about funding before making a decision

Distinction from a top UK MSc program, two-year predoc. I was expecting it but still stings. Oh well.
