Earth Science, Stanford University Thank you for your interest in the Department of Earth System Science at Stanford University. After careful consideration of your file, I am sorry to tell you that we are unable to offer you admission to the graduate program for the 2020-2021 academic year. Unfortunately we were forced to turn down many promising students this year. The number of available positions in the department is small, and it was greatly exceeded by the number of applicants. This year's applicant pool was also particularly exceptional, and the department's Graduate Admissions Committee was faced with many difficult choices. We wish you every success in your future endeavors.

Computer Science, Stanford University How many who were interviewed for Ph.D., received "Transfer-to-MS"?
Stanford EE on their FAQ lists stopped transferring Ph.D. candidates to MS somewhere in 2018.

Electrical Engineering, Stanford University TTPB: You're right, there's no rejections this week according to last year, but the first big round of acceptances would be this week, according to last year. No, I haven't yet emailed the graduate school.

(Computer Science ), Stanford University To the poster below asking about when will Stanford decisions go out, based on the last couple of years, they should be out either this week - most likely on Friday, or the next.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but they usually admit ~100-120 students.
