expected but still disappointed

Expected. Acceptances had already gone out. 0a/0w/2r with 2 pending (likely rejections as acceptances also already went out for those programs). Best of luck to everybody else out there.

I emailed last week and they said end of this week for MS CS. Looks like EE and ORIE have come out first. Might be releasing decisions in order of increasing program size.

To the poster below, I contacted the MS office and they say decisions won't be made until early Apr, which was when all decisions were released last year.

Had a Skype interview with POI a week and a half ago, I thought it went well...

No directly related research. No interview. Mention few professor in the statement but later know they might not looking for students this year. Sad face

Update on CS Meng, received an email today from Meng: You should be informed of your decision by the end of the week. So I am assuming all results will be out this week.

Undergrad in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (minor in EECS, research in CS). Expressed in my application that my second choice was Cornell ORIE. Application was transferred and I was accepted with fellowship to ORIE PhD the same day.

Just received an email from the department representative. Did my undergrad here too. This is great news! Really pumped right now :D

"... Also note that we are unable to admit self-funded students to the MS or PhD program."

Skype interview about 1.5 weeks ago, notified by email to check website today. Civil engineering BS/MS from top 5 engr schools
