Interview Feb 4-6

To the Harvard OEB poster below, were you informed by your POI or did you receive an official one? Do you think they send out invitations in one batch or several waves? Best of luck with your interview!

Just got it this morning from the program--seems like invitations are sent in batches (based on last names? my last name is included on the title of the e-mail)

Email sent on the 10th for interviews feb 4-6. Interestingly, my PI had apparently know for several days that I would be offered an interview but wanted it to be a surprise.

Email from P.I. Could not be more excited! Official notifications will be coming "soon" with previous interactions indicating sometime this week.

I have not received any notice of interview yet. Anyone else know when they might come?

Got email at 9pm EST. Had informal interview with POI in the fall. so excited!

hang in there everyone. this week is stressful. just know it will all work out how it is supposed to work out, even if the result is one that doesn't seem desirable at this moment. we can't see bird's eye view, only from now!

Recently learned from a professor at the university I'll be going to that my main POI at Harvard has transferred to a different institution. I looked it up and turns out it happened even before the AY began! And their profile is still up!! This is incredibly unprofessional, I wish I could at least get my money back -- especially because I had to retake the TOEFL *just* for them! Be sure to double-check if you are applying next year.

Undergraduate GPA not formally calculated but would be 3.55 total, 3.50 in math
