Graduate School Admission Results

BITS Pilani, non-cs with 6 month research experience but no pubs. Was a very ambitious choice so no hard feelings.

No pubs, Undergrad GPA was US equivalent of 3.0/4.0 (Mentioned GPA is Master's GPA). 6 month research internship, 1 yr RA in master's school (in USA). Wasn't expecting an admit anyway.

ıelts 7, ee master with gpa 3.79 from top uni in my country, 4 paper ( wacv, eccv w,spie, and siu-local), undergrad ee valedictorian from third best uni in my country. I do not understand how competetive this programs are. I think they expect us to write paper on top tier conference for admittance.

General Reject

Standard rejection e-mail.

1 year research ex at a top CS school in the country. Publication in process. 1.5 years work ex as an SDE.

Generic rejection by email. Apparently over 1900 applicants. Had already realized that I was rejected when I did not receive an acceptance along with others last week.

One published paper and strong recs. Pleasantly Surprised :). Was also offered a bonus and scholarship. Hoo hoot! Link... Look up here! No GRE. Conducted research my first 2 years of undergrad (1st experience was non-STEM). No papers but was cited in supervisor's dissertation. 3 strong letters (Research professor, teaching professor and supervisor from a 1 year STEM job experience I had in college). Very specific interest (digital privacy) which I made pretty clear in my SoP. No interview.

Hi! Anyone heard back from UWM (CS)?! Acceptances for other tracks have been sent out from what I can see, but no news about CS? Does anyone know. I am feeling pretty anxious at this point :/
