Chemical And Biomolecular Engineering, University Of Californa, Los Angeles (UCLA) I contacted the Department Chair (April 1st) who said they are still reviewing applications and they will send decisions out by April 15th. It's April 20th now and I still haven't heard back. Worst applications experience. They did not respond to any of my emails until I emailed the chair who responded. And they send me to voicemail whenever I call.

Chemical Engineering, University Of Californa, Los Angeles (UCLA) To future applicants, please note that UCLA Chemical & Bimolecular Eng Dept had the worst graduate admission process among all ChE departments in the US. Till this very day, they have not sent out the results for Fall 2020 cohort. Very slow and never responded to emails. Good luck to all.

Electrical And Computer Engineering, University Of Californa, Los Angeles (UCLA) TTPB: Try email Professor Mona Jarrahi who also handles graduate affairs. I've sent them multiple messages through email and Message Center for weeks but never heard back a thing. But Prof Jarrahi replied after just one day. If you still haven't heard back, you might be on the waitlist since she told me 4/15 was a hard deadline. Also here's some information regarding the coronavirus circumstances for anyone who is wondering/interested: they will accommodate deferrals of 1, 2, or 3 quarters for MS-PhD and PhD students and deferral of one year for MS-only students.

Economics, University Of Californa, Los Angeles (UCLA) Actually I am not still interested in the program. But just some advice for those who still consider UCLA at this point. 5 months without any sort of communication is not just disrespectful, but may also demonstrate that the department is a mess when it comes to management and planning, what most possibly correlates with program strength, its trend and placement during the next few years. In any case, delayed selection and postponing official results until the deadline is a risky strategy that will likely not only affect the class size but also the quality of the 2020 cohort. Based on this, be aware of potential risks involved, folks! Stay safe and good luck to everyone on their choices! :D
