Graduate School Admission Results

Is there anyone who still hasn't received any results foe MSCS? The wait is killing me.

Rejected from MSCS but was recommended for M.S. in Telecommunications for some reason.

Hello UMD CS applicants, I applied for PhD but received an email from Tom Hurst today as follows. "Referral from CS to Science Academy: This is to inform you that you have not been recommended for admission to the Computer Science Master of Science program." I don't understand why they rejected me for MS and recommended another professional degree, without giving me a decision on my PhD application. I logged in to the system and found application status: under program review.

I declined the offer. I hope someone on the waiting list can get it.

After so long. Submitted my app on December 15. Nothing about any scholarship. Probably will not go.

Has anyone heard anything about this program? The website says they would decide in late March/early April. They are really unresponsive to emails. After mailing them multiple times, they finally replied back and asked for some additional documents two weeks ago. But complete silence since then.

Any news from Maryland post April 15? Implicit rejection?

Have any other MFA waitlisters received any info or accepted elsewhere? Not sure when to expect a final decision. The forum seems to be slowing down since we're nearing the end of April.

Got a email notification, but I got a conditional offer cause my toefl score did not meet the requirements. I don't know if I will go or not...

Maryland's deadline has passed(11AM ET) so no need to ask ppl to decline anymore...

[Ignore wait list] Got a reply from Tom Hurst in regards to when the admission decisions will be available for everyone who hasn't received one yet, saying that "unfortunately, an offer of admission will not be forthcoming".

Email came through yesterday. Obviously I'd already assumed rejection but this one hurt more than most because I was waitlisted 2 years ago and think it would have been a great fit. Congrats to all those who got in.
