Graduate School Admission Results

The recent accepted student for Music, Science And Technology, Masters. Could you give us some information about your case? I'm sad. This means I am rejected for the second time. I really tried hard. :(

Interviewed for HCI on Monday, 2/3. Prof said results for HCI will be released 2/6 or this weekend at the latest.

Two years research in machine learning. I will come back to get my honor Ph.D anyways when I donate a building named after me in the future.

Got an email to check for the decision on my portal. 4.0 GPA from a top 3 school in my field, 4 years of research experience, 2 national lab internships, 1 publication under review, 2 others in the works, rec letters all very strong. I didn't take the math subject GRE and don't have the strongest math coursework - I'm guessing that was the sticking point.

To the posters who received admission to Stanford MS: how could you tell you will not receive any funding? Is it mentioned in your letter or the master degree for all cases is without financial support?

CMT/Quantum information theory. 3 years research, 3 strong LoR, 1 first author paper under review. Very nice email saying "we were tremendously impressed by your accomplishments and future plans," which might be something they tell everyone but was at least polite. Sigh.

From a top-3 engineering university in China. 1 first-authored paper for a top-three conference in EDA area. Research experience in a good American university. 110+ TOEFL. Applied straight for EE master and accepted as expected.
