APPLICATION WAS COMPLETE ON JAN 8TH, I'M VERY HAPPY TO HAVE GOTTEN AN OFFER FROM MY COUNTRY (IM BRITISH FROM BATH - NOT THE TOOL WE USE TO WASH, BUT RATHER THE CITY IN SOMERSET). I HAVE A DECISION TO MAKE BUT I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE ACCEPTANCE. I WISH THEY GAVE ME SOME FUNDING THOUGH... THE TUITION IN POUNDS IS MORE THAN I WEIGH AND IM A HEFTY BLOKE.

Anyone who has been accepted into SSE and has better offers?

Has anyone else submitted an enquiry? I did so over a week ago and have not heard back. Surprising, especially considering they're directing people to do just that after the Econometrics/ Mathematical Economics 2 year program debacle.

Informal email from department on the evening of 18th, formal acceptance from HR on 19th, of course hotmail filtered them into spam. Full funding for 4 years. Will accept. SUPER EXCITED!!!!!

They offered me this as a second choice after being rejected at the MRes/PhD programme. Given that I was accepted (with full funding) in other good institutions, and that the yearly fees of the MSc in Economics at LSE are of 24.936£, I feel humiliated. Why not directly asking me for subsidies ?
