To the one who posted rejection from British Columbia , were you wait listed by UBC before? Or there was no email from them until rejection?

American Politics - Over the f*cking moon! I was informed via email that I was moved off of the waitlist today. Meeting via video conference later this week to discuss the formal offer (pray for me that the offer includes funding!). No masters or GRE, State University: 3a/9r/1w - 2pubs/4pres

Really upset. Wait 4 months and only get a generic rejection. And that's my last hope.

Canadian applicant, notified via email that I had a message in my portal. I applied back in late February. I completed my undergrad in environmental science at UofT and was honestly expecting a rejection due to a lack of fundamental engineering courses. I likely won't be accepting this, though, as there is no guaranteed internship/co-op like there are at Calgary and UBC which I have also applied to. Furthermore, I wasn't using my brain at the time of application but the petroleum industry is on its way out, so it probably isn't a great prospect for the future. Cool that I got accepted though.

Please decline ASAP if you don't want to accept. It's my only option for this cycle

[Ignore status] Does anyone know what is going on with UT Austin? My status still says in review.

Canadian applicant, completed an undergrad in environmental science at UofT. I was offered early admission (MES program) within the week of completing the application. Used two academic references, one moderate and one strong. Likely will not be accepting, as I have better offers. The work term in the final year seems really cool though, it looks like a great program.

Canadian applicant. Undergrad in environmental science at UofT. Relatively late offer of admission compared to preceding years, I e-mailed the department regarding an update on my application status and they promptly offered the following morning. This was for the conservation and biodiversity stream at UTSC of course. I had one weak reference, one decent reference, and one strong reference, all academic.

Omit status. Any news from that Ph.D. program offered by Rutgers New Brunswick? I submitted my application in January but I haven't received any answer yet. My admission status in the application portal still says "under review"

Well, happen to know that someone with AOI similar to mine has just got in and the DGS just sent me a very indirect rejection. Was my only hope this round. Well, I should get a job.
