Math, Notre Dame To answer the ND math applicant below: I had requested a status check via email about a month ago and was told via email that they had not rejected anyone yet, but that if I were still interested I should contact a professor I'd like to work with - which i did, but with no response back. Finally, a few days ago I had gotten an email telling me I was rejected. I'm guessing ND's procedure is to make a couple rounds of acceptance offers, and once every funded spot is filled, send out the official rejection notices to everyone left. I don't think they actually have an official waitlist, or if they do, they won't tell you if you're on it.
