Graduate School Admission Results

Masters of Science; I indicated that I'd pursue the Thesis option and Neural Engineering specialization. Applied recently (Jan 31), so they may not be reviewing applications chronologically. STATS: Undergrad degree in Computer Science, took no biology courses but did take medical robotics/engineering courses. 2.5 years of research experience in computer vision and perception (no publications but multiple papers in progress), multiple industry and research internships at well known companies/orgs in unrelated fields. Some minor academic/competition awards.

American student with 3.70 CGPA who posted below that they got into DSCB at Duke. Could you please let me know when did you submit application? As they had said something about rolling basis, I am asking that's why?

Post-interview with two potential mentors. Direct rejection via email. Asked for feedback and said they were looking for overall research fit and overlap with multiple faculty in the interview.

Theory. Was interviewed late Jan.

Was sent an email telling me to check the applicant portal! 4 years research experience (3 post-undergrad), 2 publications, coming in from a different field.

Was told to check portal and saw acceptance letter

Had an interview 1/18. Political Behavior and Identities subject area of American subfield.

Got an unofficial notification on 02/01.

Does anybody know if/when funding information will be released? I was accepted, but my acceptance letter does not include any financial info.

Got an email saying that the application portal was updated.
