Graduate School Admission Results

Fianlly after 6 rejects. Have hope guys.

Did not study CS in undergrad, but taught CS for 3 years at the high-school level. Undergrad in ChemE.

Expected after seeing better candidates get rejected. Disappointed.

Rejection from MS/PhD program.

American with international B.Sc. and 9 months international grad research experience. 3 LoR and a very good TOEFL.

TTPB: Equating the header 'Student Center - New Grad' to an acceptance is probably a bit optimistic? Though I sure wish that is the case! TTPB2: Yes, I did mail them yesterday, and got no response. Blame it on the weekend I guess.

From top 5 IIT. Moderate LoRs. No publication etc. 1.5 year relevant work-ex. My first admit :) All the best to others!

Happy, after 11 rejects and acceptances to a couple of my safe schools. Still waiting on a few, but okay with this. GPA on a 10 scale.

If you are applying to a Ph.D. program and still under review, just give up your hope. The school just started declining all Ph.D. applicants who are not admitted at this time.

Got a mail to check status in spire. Mechanical Engineering from IIT kgp. 2 years of relevant work ex and a project.

To the Umass posters below, anyone from computer vision, specifically vision lab?

TTPB I think they're referring to the title of the page. Mine still shows as "Graduate Applicant Center".

Also got the email that 'Status has Changed', but when I check spire it says update pending. Given the information others have posted here, I believe it is safe to assume rejection, so that would be 1a/1r/0w/9p for me. GPA is grad. On the plus side, I can stop using Spire, which has to be the worst grad site out of all the schools I applied to. Congrats to other who got accepted!
