Graduate School Admission Results

Had an incredibly cordial and positive correspondence with a faculty before applying; wasn't selected for an interview though. Well… it's Stanford.

General email sent to check the portal. Decision letter was present on the application page. I knew it was too long after getting skipped for interviews to be good news, but it still hurts.

No email, just checked the portal and the update was there. Not really bummed out; have already received offers from schools higher on my list.

I did not receive an interview and guessed the result of being rejected. Congratulations to those who were accepted.

Generic rejection email. Understandable though, they have to send a lot.

Got an email informing me I'm on the waitlist. This is the only non-rejection I've gotten so I am really hoping that the opportunity comes through.

Biological anthropology track

Contacted by PI January 17 for an informal interview, emailed about two weeks later by my PI that the anthropology dept had accepted me.

Has anyone heard from WUSTL since the interview? And to the person who posted the acceptance -- were you officially notified by the department/grad school or personally by your POI. Thank you!

IGNORE INTERVIEW - wondering if anyone has heard anything from the University of Washington - Seattle? Applied sociocultural track and called last week to see when I would hear back and they estimated today, later this week at the latest.
