GPA is all that seems to matter.. I have seen multiple "insert embarrassingly high 9.xx GPA" from shitty Tier-3 colleges in India getting admitted. I have a decent GPA from a Tier-1 college (With relative grading, it is actually hard for us to score >9 GPA - they don't distribute those like peanuts).. UW-M was a great college and hence my bitter rant.. Anyways, nice to have some closure..

Unjustifiably in a position I'd rather not be in.

I emailed them about 4 hours ago asking if there is a new expected date for making admission offers. Hoping to at least receive a response by noon, local time.

As I know, there were 2 rounds of admits till now: 1) admits with funding 2) admits without funding Can't think of a 3rd category other than rejects given that UW-M doesn't have a waitlist :)

No interview. Fellowship for the first year. 1 Strong RL+Multiple research experiences

Got informal email today, will most probably get formal acceptance letter on mail.
