American Culture, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor We regret to inform you that the Graduate Program in American Culture at the University of Michigan is unable to offer you a place in our 2020-21 class.This year, we received a particularly strong pool of 108 applicants and are only able to admit an entering class of six students. With so many talented and interesting students applying, we based our final decisions on factors beyond mere quality, including the fit between applicant research interests and our program's strengths and the need to maintain balance among the various disciplines and interdisciplinary fields represented in the Department in American Culture.
