Anyone get a result?

Lovely personalized email from POI, complete with funding information, stating that department would be recommending me for admission. They also said that not all admits had been notified yet but that they would be 'very soon.'

E-mail to check website. No indication of funding in admission e-mail, but based on results from previous years it looks like they may not give funding... Didn't participate in an interview and had no contact with faculty.

Email to check website. Worth a shot. Medical anthropology has only two slots this year anyway. Congrats to the lucky two. Buy a lottery ticket while you're on a roll. 😜

I'm bioanth! (I'm the person whose first post started with "So excited") Where are you all from? Of those accepted - do you know yet if you're going? Good luck to those who are still waiting to hear back! Fingers crossed for you =)

"The department to which you applied has completed a review of your application for fall sem 2016. We regret to inform you that the Office of Admissions was notified that you are not admissible to the departmental program to which you applied" I'm not really sure why I wasn't admissible, there's no explanation that I can find anyways.

@the brown university poster below: Many congratulations!! Did you receive an email from the POI/department/Graduate school? Does it give any indication of how many students have been accepted this year? Also, what sub field? Sorry for the questions but were you also interviewed? Thanks in advance.

Fully funded. I am walking on sunshine rn. Sorry to all those who didn't get the result they wanted, this is my second try, don't give up.

Has anybody heard back?

I contacted the department today and learnt that the top candidates are to be contacted by the end of February. To my second email whether the rejected candidates and the ones in the waiting list are also going to be notified by the end of the month, I got a very rude email saying that that's not the case and notifying in between that I didn't make it to the first round of reviews.

Rejected, no email notification. I just happened to the check website. Very generic letter stating that I was denied.
