I am not going to accept this offer. So I emailed the department if the program has been designated as a STEM, and was told that it was not and will not in the near future. With so many other programs in AgEcon have been designated as a STEM discipline, I don't think international students in this major at Purdue will be lucky to have work-visa sponsorships after a 12-month OPT expires. Whether it is in academia or industry, I definitely want a STEM degree instead of a non-Stem one. Plz do some hw and find the one that best serves your career goals in the U.S..

Received email about waitlist, says there is a "reasonable chance" though not sure that means much. Please reject if you have dominating offers they are essentially my last chance.

Ignore Interview. Is there anyone who had an interview and recently received rejection? I have not received any notification after my interview.

Has anyone on the waitlist heard from MSU? It's been a while since they sent out the last offers.
