In the survey of students, the responses by those attending Harvard and Columbia showed a body of students which tended to be ambivalent to architecture's professional institutions, and the profession as a whole. Asked if they plan to become a licensed architect in the future, only 73% of Harvard and 61% of Columbia said yes, compared to a national average of 83.4%. Bittersweet. |
