Ignore waitlist...did anyone hear from caltech at all?

Ignore waitlist. Anyone got accepted into hep-th? Interviewed late Jan but never heard back.

Emailed to check the portal. Waitlisted. Had an interview on Jan 27th. (If you know you are not going, please let the program know. Thank you. This means a lot to me)

Cmx, received congratulations email from dept, said portal will update in a week or two

Email from dept saying to expect official acceptance in a week or so.

Second year applying, 2+ years of research, 5 conference presentations, 0 publications, no GRE. This is proof for all y'all with higher GPA's that sometimes it is just about luck and timing. You have worked very hard and just know that it is out of your hands. If goofball like me can make it in then you certainly will just keep pushing through it.
