History, University of Maryland Global Campus So excited! UMD was my top choice program thanks to the incredible faculty in the department. It was nice to have a PhD acceptance after so many rejections/Masters offers. Offered full funding, tuition remission, health insurance, research allowance, etc. for five years. Was emailed directly by history faculty member; portal does not appear to be any different as far as application status. 1a/2MA offers/8r/3p

Human-Computer Interaction (HCIM), University of Maryland Global Campus Received an Email to check the portal, the decision letter was on there. The program is simply amazing and I can't believe my luck at getting in! All the best to everyone! PS: The portal states that we should declare our decision (whether we wish to accept/reject/defer the offer) and I just wanted to know if there is a deadline to the same, if anyone has any idea about this feel free to comment below, thank you :)

Theoretical Physics, University Of Maryland Baltimore "highly ranked application", "high priority on the waitlist" If you received an offer from UMBC and are not planning to attend, please decline soon. UMBC is my top choice.

Economics, University of Maryland Global Campus Got invited to a 10 minute interview. They say not to prepare and it's implied they just want to get a feel for where else I've been accepted/waitlisted for yield management purpose. They say, "Our decisions will be released the week of March 7," for reference.

Criminology, University of Maryland Global Campus Received an email from the department that they rejected my PhD application, but they saw a lot of strength in my application so they accepted me into their Master's program. So still an acceptance, but not for the program I wanted.
