Rejected off the waitlist for funding

My GPA is ok and lower than some other rejections but I had a strong letter of intent and 10 years of relevant experience.

Just received the email for the application update, then I checked and there's the rejection, probably too many applicants this year and my gpa is not competitive enough.

I sincerely ask the accepted candidates to accept or reject their offer so waitlisted people have some chance of getting into the program.

1st class honours from an Irish University. It was measured on rolling admissions and I applied in late February.

For applicants who received other PhD offers, please inform Pittsburgh University so that the Department can also evaluate the applications of waitlisted applicants.
