Brain And Cognitive Sciences, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Interviewed with a POI in December and got an email from POI 2 days later saying they are going to consider other candidates. Not surprised about the rejection since the POI was the only one in BCS I wanted to work with.

Brain And Cognitive Sciences, Massachusetts Institute of Technology I asked about the application status to the program coordinator, and they answered below. - The BCS Admissions Committee is in the final stages of reviewing applications and invitations for interview have been sent to 95% of selected applicants. I'm just waiting to hear from the committee that the reviewing period is over and then I'll be sending notifications to non-selected applicants. I'm sorry this is such a lengthy process. I'll be in touch asap.

Chemical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology 4.0 GPA from T15 US University, 2 years of research experience, one first-author publication, multiple conference presentations and two presentation awards, didn't take GRE. Interviewed with department on 1/3, got a phone call from a professor notifying me of my acceptance on 1/12. Still in shock!!
