E-mailed to check the portal. Finally rejected after long waiting, regardless of reference from an alumnus. Proposed to study about Chinese original musicals, maybe too small-crowded to be accepted, or maybe because of the low GRE scores. For those of you who want to apply for this program in the future, high GPA and language proficiency are not enough. Research experiences are needed to prove solid academic competence. And a conventional study interest may be safer than a unique one. Anyway, looking forward to starting my journey at the NYU PAA program, and best wishes to those who got admitted! : ) |
